Our Manufacturing Process....

Leather Works 2 day... Our manufacture process is carefully planned and organized for the workers beforehand. This ensures that the assembly line covers are being put together properly, and also saves time. It also reduces wasted materials. There are a lot of repetitive tasks on the leather project and job functions on the assembly line, from putting together small parts as sub-assemblies to connecting the leather project parts such as the dyes, finishes, fasteners, and  hand lacing.  Our workers  have hand dexterity a crucial skill, as the majority of the tasks are done with the hands (even with the assistance of tools, the hand is maneuvering the leather tool ultimately). Our assembly line workers possess strong hand/eye coordination to complete all leather projects.

Our Manufacturing Materials:

European Tooling Cowhide Single Bends 2 to 7 oz.
Craftsmen who desire a premium grade of carving cowhide need to look no further than these European Single Bends. Tanned by one of the oldest continuously operating tanneries in Europe, this century old tradition of producing exquisite vegetable tanned leather is now available to you. The process begins with premium Scandinavian cowhides which are then tanned to meet the specifications of the finest bag manufacturers in Europe. From these hides, the choicest portions, the single bend is cut. Not only are these bends pretty and clean, but they are a joy to carve, producing the color and detail you would expect from a premium carving leather. They average 9-11 sq. ft.

Stoned Oil Sides...

Picture
This leather has a deep richness because it has been treated with oils, waxes and dyes in such a way that when the leather is pulled or stretched, the finish becomes lighter in the stretched areas. That gives an "Old World" effect or "Aged" look. The color returns when heat is applied or friction from rubbing a cloth or your hand in that area. This is considered a mark of high quality. This durable leather is perfect for chaps, purses, moccasins, saddle strings, tie straps, lining for tack and much more. 4 to 4.5 oz. weight.

Minelli Sides...

The fine leather goods that command premium prices, in the exclusive shops of the cultural districts of London, Paris and New York, are made from buttery soft leather such as this. You will fall in love with this leather with your first touch. Available in ten vibrant colors, this is the perfect leather for making elegant garments, handbags and other fashion accessory items. 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 oz. (1.0 to 1.4mm)

Python Skin -  First grade natural python with stark black and white contrasting markings. Belly cut only. Can be used to make fine handbags, belts, billfolds, buckles and shoes. Sold by the skin.

The best way to produce a premium belt is to begin with premium leather. The rich color of these 9 to 10 ounce double shoulders, which is applied during the tanning process, goes completely through the leather. The result is a glazed leather with exquisite beauty that is perfect for making all sorts of personal accessories. Available quantities of these premium double shoulders may be limited at times.
